Intrepid Family offer terms & conditions

With every adult booking on an Intrepid Family trip, an accompanying child travels for 15% off.

1. The 15% discount applies to bookings for travellers under the age of 17 when accompanied by an adult traveller on our Family adventures (middle code 'F' only). (Please note discount applies for one child per adult.)
2. The offer is valid on all Intrepid Family trips booked before March 15th, 2010. No extension is possible.
3. Travel must occur between 15th February 2010 and 30th November 2010.
4. Bookings must occur between 15th February 2010 and 15th March 2010. No extension is possible.
5. The discount applies to new bookings only. Under no circumstances will this discount be applied to existing bookings.
6. Discount applies to land only bookings. Excludes airfares, trip kitties, travel insurance, extra accommodation & visas etc.
7. A deposit of $250 per person is due at time of booking & is not refundable should cancellation take place.
8. Standard booking conditions apply. Please refer to Intrepid's booking conditions.
9. Trip is subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid at time of booking.
10. Extensions are not permitted on the booking date or travel date.
11. This offer can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers and must be taken up at the time of booking.
12. Please quote promo number 4607 at time of booking.
13. Trip prices and itineraries are subject to change at any time, including after booking. If there is a significant price change to a trip, travellers will be reinvoiced at the new price. Promotions & discounts will still apply to the new price.
14. Some trips must meet minimum number requirements prior to confirmation so please check at time of booking.

Order or download an Intrepid Family brochure and go in the running to WIN a US$1000 Intrepid Travel voucher between Feb 15 & March 15, 2010.

1. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Entry is via www.intrepidtravel.com only.
2. Entry is free and open to all global residents, except where prohibited by law, aged 18 years or older who complete, in full, the entry form available at www.intrepidtravel.com during the promotional period. Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences 15 February 2010 9:00am (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) and closes 15th March 2010 at 04.59pm (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time). To enter the promotion, eligible entrants must order or download a 2010 Intrepid Family brochure during the promotional period. No entries will be received by the Promoter after 04.59 pm (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) on 28th February 2010.
4. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter, Intrepid Travel PTY LTD, reserves the right to request proof of residency at the stated address and identification for verification (to the Promoter's satisfaction in its discretion) before issuing the prize. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
5. The winner will be notified by email and their name and entry will be published on www.intrepidtravel.com . In the event of the prize notification e-mail being returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining (non-winning) eligible entries received. Names of the winners (first name, last initial and city/state of residence) may also be announced in the Intrepid Express e-newsletter.
6. The winning entry will win a US$1000 Intrepid Travel Voucher for which the terms of use are below:
   The value of the voucher will be converted to the traveller's home currency at the time of booking according to the currency conversion at the time of booking found at www.xe.com
7. The voucher may be used towards any travel booking with Intrepid Travel made between March 16, 2010 and September, 2010 for departures between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011.
8. Please refer to Intrepid's Booking Conditions - standard booking conditions apply. The complete value of US$1000 must be used towards the one booking. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other Intrepid or third party discounts or special offers.
9. If the winner has already booked an Intrepid Family trip on the 15% Kids offer, Intrepid will discount the trip by the further US$1000 (or equivalent) value.
10. Travel must be arranged by the winner contacting Intrepid Travel, quoting their full name and the promotion number they receive upon notification of winning. The Promoter will not contact the winner to arrange travel and this is the winner's responsibility.
11. The voucher, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
15. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages. If you do not provide the information, you cannot participate. The Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner's name, and locality in any media as required under relevant legislation. If an entrant prefers that this does not occur, please write to our Campaign Coordinator at the Promoter's address below. Entrants can also gain access to, update or correct any personal information by contacting our Campaign Coordinator at the address set out below.
16. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
