What do you enjoy the most about being a group leader?

Being able to share my country with others is like no other feeling. Many times it will be people's first time in the US, and I get to act as the liaison for our wonderful country. I also get to experience all these magical places over and over again through their eyes. I'm able to take my own personal curiosity and interest and excite others in their quest for knowledge and adventure.

What led you to becoming a leader?

Throughout my life I have found myself in leadership roles - it's something that is a part of me. After a year teaching English in Spain and travelling, I was still itching for adventure. This opportunity came up and it's the best decision I have ever made!

What is the most special thing about the region you lead in?

My favorite trip to lead is one across the country because people really get to see the difference between the regions, from the streets of New York to the waterfalls of Yosemite and the party town, New Orleans. The national parks on the West Coast are indescribable.

What is your favourite travel memory?

Hands down my favorite memory was when I was on Safari with my Grandmother, brothers and 4 other cousins in Kenya. It was the most spectacular trip I have ever been on and going on safari had been a dream of mine since as long as I could remember. The most vivid, unreal, WOW moment was on a game drive when we stumbled upon one of the rarest in the wild; a kill. A female lion was nabbed a gazelle right in front of our eyes - it was truly nature at its best.

If I were hungry in your region, where would you take me to eat?

On the East Coast we would have a slice of NY pizza or a Philly Cheesesteak. In the south, some serious BBQ ribs or a pulled pork sandwich. Being from California, Mexican food is something I have grown up with, so the best place to eat Mexican is from the taco trucks in Los Angeles. There's so much variety and you can't go wrong!
