Days 1-2 Cairo/Overnight Train

Day 3 Aswan

Situated on the banks of the Nile, the Nubian city of Aswan has been Egypt's southern gateway to Africa and an important trading centre since ancient times.

Day 4 Nile Felucca

Once the lifeblood of an ancient civilisation, cruise the iconic Nile on a traditional felucca and spend a night sleeping on deck under the stars.

Days 5-6 Luxor

From the spectacular temple complex of Karnak to the extraordinary hieroglyphs of the Valley of the Kings, Luxor is full of wonderfully preserved reminders of the Pharaohs.

Days 7-8 Hurghada

Set on the glittering waters of the Red Sea, Hurghada is vibrant beach resort with superb snorkelling amid the vividly coloured marine life that inhabits its offshore reefs.
