This trip is a combination of two separate itineraries and now includes the connecting flight from Singapore to Jakarta along with airport transfers in Singapore and Jakarta. Please note you will fly unaccompanied on this flight. The departure transfer from your hotel to Singapore Airport is by MRT (train network). Your leader will provide you with all the details for this transfer, but you will be unaccompanied on this journey.
This trip includes walking, hiking, cycling and kayaking. Whilst most of these activities will not require training or much previous experience, a moderate level of fitness will help you to get the most out of this trip.
You’ll get to travel overland through multiple countries on this trip, which means that there are some longer travelling days on public and private buses – as well as an overnight train – but it also offers a great chance to interact with your fellow travellers, soak up the scenery, catch up on some podcasts or write in your travel journal.

Dress standards in most of Java, Indonesia, are more conservative than other areas of Asia. Conservative dress is also recommended for this portion of the trip. Accommodation at Seloliman Nature Reserve and near Mt Bromo is in basic guesthouses. Set on the edge of a tropical forest the Seloliman Reserve embraces philosophies of environmental education, and we are sure you will get a good night’s sleep. The next night close to the base Mt Bromo, the guesthouse is selected for its location. The stay is short, as you’ll wake very early the next day for a sunrise hike.

2. In order to book the train tickets on this trip we require your full passport details at time of booking, or at the latest 45 days prior to travel. Ticketing fees may apply for amendments to details within 45 days of departure, and in some cases you will be required to cover the cost of issuing a new ticket or alternative transport costs.
3. A Single Supplement to have your own room is available on this trip and excludes Day 2 (overnight sleeper train), Day 22 Seloliman Nature Reserve & Day 23 Bromo where you will be in shared accommodation.
