This trip has several long travelling days, including and overnight train from Delhi to Jaisalmer on Day 2. Although conditions are basic, these are true local experiences and the best way to travel long distances, meet locals and maximise time at your destinations. On the train, occasionally passengers of different genders will be required to share a compartment and/or you'll be sharing with locals or travellers from other groups.
This trip includes a camel ride into the desert for an overnight camp. There are no tents – you’ll be memorably sleeping out in the open under the stars. Please bring warm clothing if travelling in the colder months.
