This was a fantastic trip and if you're planning on going to columbia the time is now. It is a vibrant culture with welcoming people that embraces travellers and those who wish to get to know their beautiful country. A tip for travellers? Pack for all seasons - it can be cold and wet in Bogota!

It's easy to book with Intrepid and I like that it's all clear and accessible for review online. I always call to find out the ages of the group. I feel that it's very important to fit in age-wise, although I am older I am fit and young at heart and I enjoy young adults and small groups. I like that Intrepid has a variety of experiences and plenty of exercise and does not spend hours eating big meals nor time on a large bus. I like the idea of being in the local community and that there is usually a homestay.
