1. Eligibility

The campaign is open to people of all ages; there are no restrictions on who can make a submission.

2. Number of Submissions

Participants may submit any number of images. If used in our brochures, social media or email, the image will be credited to you, if your name has been supplied.  Pictures that appear on the Intrepid website may not be credited.  

3. Image content

The created images must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the hosts, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Owners of the images that are deemed to be inappropriate will be contacted privately and asked to remove the image from their social media accounts.

4. Ownership of Entries

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are agreeing to grant Intrepid Travel (and its providers and affiliates) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence without charge to use, reproduce, publish and display any or all of your submission for use in marketing materials and any media, including publication on Intrepid Travel’s (and its providers and affiliates) website for an unlimited time for the purposes of promoting its products, services or other promotions.

5. Personal Information

The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this campaign is governed by the Privacy Laws of New South Wales and Australia. Your personal information shall not be provided to any third parties without your prior consent but you do authorise Intrepid Travel to be able to contact you with information pertaining to the campaign or related promotions.

Travel Agent t&cs

The incentive is only open to leisure travel agents in Australia & New Zealand. The prize is 5 (five) vouchers to the value of AU$1800 each, for a departure prior to 30 June 2016. To enter, agents must visit live.intrepidtravel.com and create content that answers the question What Does Travel Mean To You.  Agents must then share their content on any social media channel (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and/or Pinterest) and include #LiveIntrepid and #IntrepidAgent in the post.  The content must be posted by/on Friday 16 October 2015 to be eligible to win.  The five most creative & inspirational content will be deemed the winners, as selected by Intrepid Group staff.  The winners will be announced and notified in October 2015. No compensation will be offered to agents unable to use their prize and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the winner or prize. The Intrepid Group will not be responsible for agents who do not use their prize by the travel date specified. The prize voucher can be put towards the recommended retail price of any Intrepid tour excluding Polar, Short Break Adventures, Urban Adventures and tours operated by 3rd party suppliers. The prize voucher cannot be used towards airfares, pre or post tour accommodation or transfers or travel insurance. If the tour costs more than $1800, the agent can pay the difference. If the tour costs less than $1800, no refund applies. Voucher can only be used towards one Intrepid tour. The winning agents are responsible for all costs outside of the tour program including but not limited to visas, additional meals not included in the itinerary, comprehensive travel insurance, required travel vaccinations and optional activities outside of the itinerary. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The voucher cannot be transferred (to another person), exchanged (for another prize or for cash) or extended.  Agents must book their tour at least 56 days prior to travel – please note that the tour may require minimum numbers before the winner can book. The winners may need to be approved by the Store Manager/Area Leader/Team Leader or Product Manager as appropriate prior to using their voucher. The prize may impact on your reportable Fringe Benefits Tax – we encourage you to seek your own independent advice from your tax advisor.
