Despite only been eight days the itinerary succeeded ,not only, in letting us see the places we wanted to but gave us an impression of the diversity between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi while also experiencing the beaches and countryside. Furthermore we got to enjoy the jewel that is Halong Bay at leisure and in luxury.

Intrepid provided an opportunity for me to experience my first overseas trip in a safe yet incredibly interesting and exciting way. I was able to meet local people and were welcomed into their homes; I had opportunities to visit famous places as well as lesser known areas of interest in local communities; I was invited to engage in shared conversations of what experiences I would like to have during the tour including extra activities such as kayaking,bike-riding and cooking; I was able to support local people and care for the environment during the tour; I shared my journey with a small-group of generous people who all seemed to enjoy this way of seeing Vietnam; I had the kindest and most professional guide who made all this possible - thank-you so much Duc. I know I would not have been able to have such excellent experiences if I had of organised this trip myself. From my observations being able to speak the language and have local knowledge allowed for me to see so much of Vietnam in a short space of time without me having to worry about anything other than packing my bag. I would recommend Intrepid to anyone interested in having a great holiday with a small-group focus and this trip has inspired me to continue my own travels.
