Intrepid Foundation Projects Your Dollars Will Support

Friends of the Asian Elephant
Friends of the Asian Elephant was established to protect and conserve the welfare of elephants in Thailand. FAE’s elephant hospital provides free medical care for sick and injured elephants, as well as education for keepers. Its Mobile Vets Project sends teams to Northern Thailand to diagnose and treat elephants. It also works collaboratively with other organizations to advocate for elephant welfare. We are one of 160 travel companies who no longer offer elephant rides on our trips after learning about abuse.
-
4,500+ sick and injured elephants have been treated since 1993
-
82 elephants received treatment from FAE’s Mobile Vets Project
-
100% of donations go towards Friends of the Asian Elephant initiatives

Small Projects Istanbul
By supporting this organization, you are helping Syrian refugees get back on their feet. SPI offers 40+ programs a week that aim to improve the skills of women and their children toward brighter futures.
Children participate in childcare, language and psychosocial support to better cope and integrate into mainstream Turkish schools. Meanwhile, their mothers take part in the Women's Skills Development Program which transfers entrepreneurial, leadership, and technical handicraft skills in conjunction with their social enterprise, in which the participants gain a livelihood.
-
3.7 million Syrian refugees have fled to Turkey
-
130 families benefit from participation in SPIs programs
-
60 women participate in the social enterprise program
