I was looking for a slower-paced tour with a lighter itinerary in an exotic location with idyllic beaches, and this trip fits the bill. While there is a lot of free time, there is plenty to do and experience. The two snorkeling excursions were great, and our leader, Itim, was a lot of fun. The homestay was really fun, and we were all pleasantly surprised that they had high-speed WiFi. A few notes: The cost estimates for food and drinks are too low, so plan on spending more especially in Koh Tao and Koh Samui where the prices are inflated. It rained nearly every day in August, so bring a light raincoat and flip flops.
