To complete this trip it is important that you are both confident and competent in riding a bicycle.
While the cycling distances on this trip are relatively short (the longest ride is only 50 kilometres), the stunning terrain of Andalucia is naturally hilly, and the climate is warm so you’ll need a reasonable level of fitness to enjoy the trip. Remember we will always have the support vehicle on hand if you need to take a break for an hour or a day.
As our riding is done mostly on sealed roads with the occasional gravel cycle path there are no technical cycling skills required. Given there will be hills, we do suggest practicing riding downhill so you are comfortable with this once the trips begins.
There’s the possibility of a few hiccups along the way, a puncture here and there, but there’s no doubt this is an incredibly rewarding adventure.
You'll be spending your nights in hotels all the way, ranging from comfortable to basic levels of comfort, but they'll always be authentic and a great opportunity to interact with the locals and fellow travellers alike.
The weather in this region can be varied depending on the season. Be prepared to get sweaty and for the occasional rainstorm, which may require a change of plans.

Our Cycle Andalucia trips score an average of 4 out of 5 based on 3 reviews in the last year.
I enjoyed this trip, in general. The places we visited were beautiful and the culture of Andalucia is rich and interesting. Our guide and driver were both pleasant and helpful. I liked that we had only 6 people on the tour. Although this trip was given a physical rating of 3 from 5, I think it should really be 4 from 5, as the hills are quite challenging. On Day 3, there was an intense, almost continuous uphill climb of about 4 km. I had to get off the bike a few times and walk, despite training for a couple of months before going on the tour. On Day 4, the whole group opted to ride in the van up the 5 km uphill bit. I was surprised that Cordoba was not part of the trip itinerary, as it was the capital city of Moorish Spain for hundreds of years. So I stopped there for a couple of days on the way to Seville, where the cycling trip started.
