New Zealand Tours & Holidays

People love to throw around the phrase ‘natural beauty’. Then they go to New Zealand.

The ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ – it’s a classic Kiwi understatement if there ever was one. Most travellers are drawn to New Zealand for those epic experiences out in nature – the open spaces, the dusted peaks, the lakes that pop with blue and make a mockery of Instagram filters – that stuff is just the tip of the glacier. From the feather-clad harbingers of Maoritanga to the happening backstreets of Wellington and Dunedin to the natural beauty of Milford Sound, this country jumps with vitality in more ways than merely geological. Come for the epic trails and bubbling geysers, and stay for the friendliest folk in the southern hemisphere.

Cycle New Zealand: Otago Rail Trail

Linda · Traveled February 2024
This trip was awesome. Mostly fairly flat but I'm 65 & of dubious fitness, so I got an ebike which I would recommend unless you are a regular bike rider. The accommodation was really good, scenery amazing, plenty of stops for photos etc, went to some nice pubs & cafes. Curling was fun. Griff, the leader was a legend, and the group were fantastic & very supportive. I'd definitely recommend this tour.

Otago Rail Trail is a super easy trail to do on a mt bike with fat tyres! Beautiful, stunning scenery - lots of farmland (cows/sheep/deer), rivers, bridges, tunnels, ... quaint towns - especially Ophir, great cafes/pubs along route, amazing accommodation - the Black Hotel in Ophir was a great stay, super friendly- helpful guide (thank you Griff). Had a great 4 days!

Premium New Zealand Encompassed

Jonathan · Traveled February 2024
New Zealand - 5 Stars. Wayne (our tour leader) - 5 stars. Intrepid - 2 stars. Coming on this tour you know you are going to be impressed with the scenery, the friendliness of the people and the focus on environmental conservation. You will not be disappointed. The itinerary is good - if a little breathless at times - and if you have the same guide we did you will be guaranteed a wonderful time. The only shadow cast over our trip was due to the lack of care provided by Intrepid. Watch out for “feature stays” being replaced by much lower class accommodation with no notice or compensation. And don’t expect a response if you need to contact them.
