We loved this Trip! Everything was great! The hike was fun and a bit challenging but there was always time to relax and feel like your on holidays. You do need a reasonable level of fitness for it and I’d strongly suggest waterproof hiking boots. The parts of costa rica the tour took us to we wouldn’t have seen any other way. The scenery was beautiful. The home stays were wonderfull. We really enjoyed meeting and sharing meals with actual Costa Rican families. And the home cooked food!! Great! Our guides were really lovely and all of the activities surpassed expectations. I’d do it all over again!

The trip overall was fantastic. The guide was excellent and knowledgeable and really added more value to our experience! The trek was by far the best part of the tour, it was challenging and really tested our mental and physical endurance and grit. I loved the concept of responaible travelling and getting to know the locals better. It's a better way to giveback to the local economy and to gain a different perspective while traveling.
