Please check back in a few months for more details on that itinerary.

Some included activities such as the hikes in the Monteverde Cloud Forest and Manuel Antonio NP can be quite strenuous.
The tropical climate of Central America means conditions can be really hot and humid. Always carry plenty of water with you and stay hydrated, especially on walking tours.
Try to learn as many Spanish words as you can. Locals are very friendly, but also shy, so you'll need to make plenty of effort to break the ice. Attempting to communicate in Spanish is a great way of showing you care.

Our Costa Rica Express trips score an average of 4.53 out of 5 based on 38 reviews in the last year.
My trip to Costa Rica surpassed my expectations. The organization was excellent between available time, distance and destinations. The leader and the guides had a wealth of knowledge that made me even more interested in the country and its resources. Once I was back home, I strated noticing and comparing birds, plants and insects with what we have here in Ontario, Canada.

This was our one experience with Intrepid. The guide was excellent. The organization and number of activities was very appropriate. I'll try them again for sure.
