There is an included bicycle ride around Sukhothai Heritage Park on this trip. It’s a leisurely cycle along quiet and flat roads, and one of the best ways to see the park.
It can get very hot while sightseeing, particularly when walking around sites such as the Angkor complex, so be sure to always carry water, and wear comfortable shoes and appropriate skin protection.
We visit a number of temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.

This tour is a fabulous full on nonstop 3 weeks covering 3 countries. As it is a combination trip I have 3 different tour guides and 3 different groups. There was only one other person who I started in Bangkok with came all the way with me to Hanoi. It is a brilliant way to get an experience of these countries. There were many highlights from the moving Hellfire Pass to the beauty and tranquility of Angkor Wat at Dawn. Friendships have been formed and life time memories made.

Visiting three countries over three weeks worked out very well. Everyday was filled with activities and sightseeing with choices of excursions or your own time to relax. Our expectations were met and way beyond. We loved every minute and were lucky to have a small group with a few leaving or new people joining as we changed country. All our three guides and others that helped them were excellent, their English very good. So much to see, different cultures and some very rich and poor areas. Intrepid helped poor young adults in the service industry and the elephant hospital, two of many visits to local life. Tips, a good camera and camcorder, two pin power point plugs, jkt and fleece for North Vietnam. Trainers and sandals adequate. Laundry care is cheap at hotels so room for gifts to take home. Tea making facilities in every room except on junk boat, available on request however with lovely staff. Take tea bags, no milk provided in room, but sure staff will help. Beds very comfy, after busy day, good sleep so you'll need an alarm clock or ask at reception. Need cosies for pools. Take shawl/scarf for Temples, read instructions carefully. Drink bottled water during day, ok to use tap water in hotels to brush teeth. Plenty of comfort stops and cafes offered throughout trip. Take casual comfy clothes, two nice blouses/shirts for evening is plenty. we went in February so dress according to temperature. Take insect sprays, sun cream, hats and wipes for hands (very handy). Prepare to have new experiences, meet people and enjoy these most fascinating countries, most of all, have fun. We did!
