Cycling to raise awareness of plastic pollution.
The Peloton Against Plastic is a bicycle ride from Hanoi to Bangkok, designed to generate conversation about prevention of plastic pollution.
We’ll visit grass-roots organisations in the region that are helping reduce the negative impacts of plastic pollution and take in the beautiful scenery and must-see tourist destinations of Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam. Through the ride, we will showcase local business solutions which address plastic pollution, and in turn boost local jobs and provide long term economic empowerment for local communities.
Plus, if you book onto the Peloton, 10% of the trip cost will be donated directly to our Intrepid Foundation partner, Rehash Trash and matched dollar-for-dollar by The Intrepid Foundation*.
The Peloton Against Plastic will ride from 16 June - 12 July 2018 on a special departure of our Cycle South-East Asia trip.
You can book to join the Peloton for the entire ride through South-East Asia, or just one of the two legs; Vietnam, or Cambodia and Thailand.
The entire Peloton trip
16 June - 12 July 2018
Take part in this ground-breaking adventure and see how, with the support of grass roots organisations and some clever and simple products, we can all avoid single use plastic and help protect this beatiful part of the world from plastic pollution.
16 June - 30 June 2018
You’ll be welcomed by volunteers from Clean and Green Vietnam & Vietnam Live and Learn. Hear how they educate people on the environment and the benefits of reducing plastic. Visit businesses changing the status quo and maybe even join in on a beach clean-up or two.
Cambodia & Thailand leg
30 June - 12 July 2018
You'll visit our charity partner Rehash-Trash, celebrate at a Plastic Free July party in Siem Reap with Plastic Free Cambodia and see how locals are taking action.
As this is a unique departure, different from our standard cycling trips in South-East Asia, you will need to get in contact with us directly to book onto the Peloton.
