This was my first experience traveling on my own, but with a group. I can't say enough great things about Intrepid, and especially our leader, Soon. She went out of her way to ensure we all had a wonderful experience in Thailand, anyone who knows anything about group dynamics knows this is no easy feat, but she worked hard and made it happen! Soon has such pride for Thailand and her enthusiasm for the culture is contagious. I highly recommend traveling with Intrepid. Everything was well organized, and when there were minor hiccups, Soon went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved.

This trip is what you make it! Prepare yourself before-hand as it is hard to get your s#*% together once you are in the moment and on the move (sometimes not at 100% health). I suggest looking up the places you will be staying a researching popular things to do so you don't get caught up in indecision in the moment like I did. However, if you thrive on that ride the seat of your pants kind of thing, Tony is a great help! If you have extra flights to book I also suggest booking everything before you leave. We tried to book a domestic flight while we were there and the experience was successful, but not as straight forward as one would presume. 7/11 will also be a home base. Everything is okay as long as there is 7/11. Enjoy yourself and take lots of pictures! I wish I had more!
