Trip kitty in Africa - no more!

We already run some pretty special trips in Africa, but something’s changed that will make them even better. For the first time, we’ve removed the kitty cost from all of our Africa itineraries.

What is the kitty?

The kitty is (or was) an on-the-ground cash contribution towards group activities, food for the camp and some accommodation – paid in addition to your regular trip cost.

What does this change mean for you?

Several things. For one, you won’t have to carry around large sums of cash, or desperately try and find banks to swap that cash for USD. And you can pay for your trip in one fixed, up-front payment without keeping a wary eye on currency fluctuations.

What’s included now?

The price that you now see is the price you pay. That price will cover everything specified in the inclusions – usually all accommodation, transfers, activities, national park fees and some meals (check your specific itinerary for details). The kitty has been incorporated into this price, so there are no surprise payments waiting for you on the ground. Just a great adventure.
