Join Intrepid Travel and World Animal Protection as we discuss the importance of animal-friendly travelling with singer, TV personality and animal enthusiast, Alesha Dixon, in celebration of World Elephant Day.
What to expect
Find out how to be an animal-friendly traveller at a Q&A session with World Animal Protection ambassador, Alesha Dixon. Answering questions about her recent trip to Thailand, and the importance of animal-friendly travelling, Alesha explains why fighting against animal cruelty is a cause that sits so close to her heart.
With recent research revealing that more than 2,250 elephants used for tourist entertainment in Asia are kept in poor and unacceptable conditions, we’ll also be discussing the best ways to enjoy animal-friendly adventures, how to research before you go and why seeing animals in a safe and nurturing environment is an experience like no other.
This event is run in partnership with World Animal Protection. With hubs across the world, World Animal Protection helps governments and communities to work on projects which care for animals, making sure that they live free from pain and cruelty.
