The Costa Rica/ Panama trip alternated high energy activities (snorkeling, hiking, speeding full tilt in boats) with days in bus or van seeing beautiful country while getting to next base. Lots of chances to mingle with locals. Being able to speak Spanish is a big plus.

I enjoyed the people/culture, the wildlife, and the beaches. I would caution elderly people over 50, to be cautious on trips such as snorkeling, as their ladders are unsafe and not up to our standards. People struggled trying to board the boat from the water.
