I've tried self guided tours and spent too long in poorly chosen hotels and resorts. I've come to the conclusion that Intrepid is the best way to really see a country. The local guides are priceless.

The trip was action packed and certainly very active. Plan a few days of relaxing at the end, you will need it. We feel that it was very good value for money and that we got to experience a side of Thailand that many international tourists don't. Travelling with families who had children of a similar age was a big bonus.
