Though its equatorial position means fairly constant year-round temperatures, the summer months in Sri Lanka are very hot with short, sharp monsoons in the south-west of the country. Be sure to use adequate sun protection and drink plenty of water. If you have issues with heights, you may wish to sit out the climb of Lion Rock at Sigiriya. there are lots of rough, narrow steps and tight walkways.

We become a very nice overview of Sri Lanka. Unfortunatly we did'nt see wild Elefants - that would be the south trip. We enjoyed the two days on the beach very much. This brake was necessarly. You live out he suitcase, but that was okay. After the trip we just stayed in a very nice Hotel by the beach. On this trip you travel and see a lot of temples. I learned a lot of buddism and hindi.
