Experience Cambodia in all its colours and contrasts
Discover the magic of Cambodia, from the palm-lined coastal fringes to the heart of the country's Khmer heritage. Journey from bustling Bangkok to remote Banteay Chhmar and on to Angkor, where mind-blowing temples strike a dazzling pose in the setting sun. Mountain-bike by the Mekong in Phnom Penh, stay with a local family in the Cardamom Mountains, then relax and unwind on the perfect beaches of Ko Kong and Ko Chang. With something for everyone, this is the perfect two-week trip through Cambodia.
A night of leisure time in Bangkok is a golden opportunity for a street food feast. The Thai capital is quite arguably the world's greatest open-air barbeque
Get a double dose of Angkor greatness. Explore not only the world-famous complex outside Siem Reap, but also the incredible and remote Banteay Chhmar, aka Citadel of the Cat
Enjoy a well-balanced activity schedule in Phnom Penh. After a Mekong mountain bike trip, use free time to confront the dark history of the Khmer Rouge
Get off the beaten track in the Cardamom Mountains, trekking to rapids and a waterfall and staying overnight with a local family
Ko Chang offers the perfect finish to your Asian adventure. Laze around on beautiful palm-lined shores or go snorkelling with tropical fish
There are two homestays on this trip: one in the remote community of Banteay Chhmar (Day 2), and one in Chi Phat in the Cardamom Mountains (Day 8). These offer memorable first-hand experiences of everyday Cambodian life, but keep in mind that facilities on these nights may be more basic than what you're used to.
Cambodian roads can be rough and bumpy, and delays are sometimes unavoidable. A dash of patience will go a long way toward your enjoyment of this beautiful country!
A single supplement is available on this trip, please contact your sales agent if you would like to book a single supplement. Please note on the following nights a single supplement is not included; Day 2 Banteay Chhmar Homestay and Day 8 Chi Phat Homestay.

Travelling with a group of likeminded people was a safe way for me to do a “solo” trip.

The only tip I have is to have some extra days at the end of the tours to relax, get your breath back and reflect on what you have seen and done before going home.
