July is jam-packed with adventure

July is slap bang in the middle of (Aussie) winter – with a mixed bag of weather from bright blue skies and beaming sun in the outback and Far North Queensland, to cooler conditions in Victoria and Tasmania. Want to chase the sun? Head to the Northern Territory to trek the Larapinta Trail or discover towering gorges and wonderful waterholes in Kakadu National Park. Keen on culture? Listen to the Traditional Owners of natural wonders like Uluru and the Bungles Bungles share ancient stories and cultural traditions. Or disconnect from everyday life on a reef-meets-rainforest adventure in the Daintree and Cape Tribulation.

Both states have an abundance of natural beauty including jaw-dropping national parks and endless sandy beaches so settling the debate of the Northern Territory vs Western Australia is a hard one. Both bursting with Aboriginal culture, vibrant and multicultural cities, and more wildlife than you'll be able to spot, each region is breathtaking in its own way.

Intrepid is committed to making travel widely accessible, regardless of ability or disability. That’s why we do our best to help as many people see the world as possible, regardless of any physical or mental limitations they might have. However, we’re always happy to talk to travellers with disabilities and see if we can help guide them towards the most suitable itinerary for their needs and where possible, make reasonable adjustments to our itineraries.
