Explore Cape Leveque, the Dampier Peninsula and the Islands of the Giant Tides
A stunning composition of ochre-coloured earth and aquamarine waters, the Dampier Peninsula is one of the most spectacular coastal environments in Australia and a great place to encounter the Kimberley's indigenous culture. Visit historical local communities and gain an insight into indigenous Bardi-Jawi lifestyle at One Arm Point. Tour a working aquaculture hatchery and see pearling in action at one of Australia’s oldest family-owned pearl farms – Cygnet Bay. Relax on the sands or set out snorkelling at stunning Cape Leveque. Take a boat cruise through the Islands of the Giant Tides and then spend a night in a private Coastal Safari camp.

It's not all vehicle travel, we access our evening campsite by boat which adds to the uniqueness of this destination!
The roads to the Cape can be a little rough, so be prepared to bounce around your seat on the drive there and back.
We camp, but it's comfortable. Part of the experience is being out in the wilderness so be prepared to embrace it.

Our Cape Leveque and the Kimberley Coast (Basix) trips score an average of 4 out of 5 based on 1 review in the last year.
Long hours in a bus, scenery was average, saw little wetlands and no wildlife. We saw none of what the Kakadu uses as its advertising. The brochure needs to be revised.
