Borneo - the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we joined the Intrepid group the adventure began. Highly recommend this for those who love wildlife and also want to explore the wilder side of Borneo. A must if you want to see the Orangutan’s and trek the jungle.

If you want life changing experiences for your kids then this is a trip for you. We saw wild orangutans, danced with local villagers, snorkelled in crystal clear water and our daughter released turtle hatchling to the sea. Perfect!

Classic Borneo

Christine · Traveled March 2024
This trip is a must do put it on your bucket list, it is busy and hot but so totally worth it. To end with the visit to the island is just the icing on the cake. There was nothing we were not provided the accommodation was comfortable and clean with hot showers what more do you need. Edwin our tour leader was top notch he went above and beyond to provide us with the experience he thought we should have, we visited the orangutangs twice, he arranged a beautiful sunset get together on the pier on the island including drinks and music and he arranged a birthday that I will never forget. Thank you Edwin you are a wonderful guide and an amazing human. We saw Monkeys, birds, elephants, crocs, snakes, turtles, a water snake, beautiful fish, star fish and coral. To the best travel buddies a solo traveller could wish for you will have a place in my heart forever. If you want to know what to bring its swimming shorts so your bottom does not get sunburned.
