Darjeeling is 2042m / 6700 ft above sea level. It can get cold, make sure you check the weather at your time of travelling and bring a jacket and layers just in case.

A wonderful trip. Well worth the long journeys and bumpy roads for the diverse experiences, contrasting cultures, scenery, wildlife and fantastic food. Highly recommended for a great taste of North East India.
