Ancient canyons, towering rock formations and flowing rivers make up this corner of America, where the elements have carved away the land for centuries. Lace up your walking shoes and explore Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 arches, and Canyonlands National Park, where the Green River meets the Colorado. After days of desert hiking, explore the artsy town of Moab or watch the sunset from your lodge on the shores of the Colorado River.

Our trip was an exceptional introduction to Moab, Utah, with a thoughtful and wonderful guide. The itinerary was thorough for the amount of time we had, and adapted well to unexpected weather patterns. It was a very fun couple of days and I can't wait to book another trip with Intrepid Travel.

I do not recommend trips guided by Chris Patrick. He behaved unprofessionally, making advances on female travelers, by asking "how often [they've] been hit on" and making egregious comments that fetishizes women of color. His conduct made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Intrepid took my concerns seriously and provided a resolution.

What a fabulous trip! Indy our guide was spectacular... almost as spectacular as the stunning red rocks of Moab. The hike to Delicate Arch is a show-stopper. This is a real hiking trip, so expect some early mornings and sore feet. Every hike was worth the huffing and puffing. The scenery (and sense of accomplishment) are awesome when you make it to the top. I loved every moment of this trip - from the trip leader, to my fellow travelers, to the hiking - 5 out of 5 stars.

Fantastic tour - Indy was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the area. This tour offers many amazing sites/hiking - I recommend this trip for someone who wants a very active holiday with a lot of time hiking and outdoors. Each site and experience was better than the last and I made great friends I hope to travel with again - definitely surpassed my expectations!
