Oman is a great country and so safe with plenty of variety. We had a fantastic guide (Said) and driver (Amin) who looked after us very well. The accommodation was better than I expected with all properties having a swimming pool (except the desert of course!) and air con (including the desert!) which was need in the hot temperatures. Transport was also better than expected with a minibus in Muscat then 4wd Land Cruisers for the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!

Oman has more to offer than you might think. A little known country but with a fascinating history and a wide variety of things to see - it's not all sand dunes and camels!!
