There are only a few things that could make your European summer adventure even better, and one of them is Pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you\u2019re a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or you simply want to show your allyship, here\u2019s our guide to the best European cities to celebrate Pride next summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. So, what better place to celebrate love in all its forms. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inter-lgbt.org\/\">Paris Pride<\/a> parade, known as Marche des Fiert\u00e9s, usually takes place in June. March through famous streets with over half a million people followed by a huge free party in Place de la R\u00e9publique. Join hundreds of thousands of people in July to walk or shimmy through Berlin\u2019s electric streets at the annual&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/csd-berlin.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride Parade<\/a>. The parade started in 1979 in memory of the Stonewall Riots in New York on 27 June, 1969 and has grown to be one of the biggest in Europe. You\u2019ll find plenty of other pop-up Pride events across the city from impromptu street parties featuring DJ floats to themed day parties at Berlin\u2019s most iconic clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-b36958dc-38ba-401f-8d97-cd66a731d900\">4. The parade is the main event, but the week leading up to it is crammed with events \u2013 think free concerts in&nbsp;Trafalgar Square&nbsp;and the&nbsp;West End, a <a href=\"https:\/\/prideinlondon.org\/pgt\/\">Pride\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> show featuring some of the country\u2019s top emerging queer artists and performers, queer cruises along the River Thames, and countless parties where you can dance until the wee hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top trips:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/united-kingdom\/walk-hadrians-wall-highlights-160015\">7-day Hadrian\u2019s Wall Highlights<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-ba57c89b-90e0-4b1c-8264-8e246bed28ef\">5. Stockholm, Sweden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-3a52c6fd-fe72-4bfb-b71a-9257b7b62263\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stockholmpride.org\/en\/\">Stockholm Pride<\/a> is the largest Pride celebration in Scandinavia. The week-long celebration will take place in August during the peak of summer and will feature an open-air festival known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stockholmpride.org\/evenemang\/pride-park\/\">Pride Park<\/a> and a parade of 50,000 people through central Stockholm. It&#8217;s a great time to walk around the city as the streets, buildings and shop windows transform into a rainbow of colour thanks to the Rainbow City. Brussels project which aims to promote the message of diversity, inclusion and solidarity. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-4423e88b-2b31-470d-a7b0-bc8f54a90e48\">7. Amsterdam, Netherlands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-e0cb3fd6-83a5-4df3-8826-20a6bd9fc7bb\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intrepidtravel.com\/adventures\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/EU-Amsterdam-Pride-celebration-flag-477436882-ss-800x450-1.jpg\" alt=\"People waving flags at the Amsterdam Canal Pride Parade\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-801a04a1-c444-4562-a07d-3f7992d44b7c\"><a href=\"\/netherlands\">Amsterdam<\/a> is a cracker of a city, and even more so during <a href=\"https:\/\/pride.amsterdam\/en\/\">Pride<\/a>. This year&#8217;s theme is yet to be confirmed, but last year\u2019s was \u2018My Gender, My Pride\u2019 to broaden the conversations and amplify the voices around gender identities and everyone\u2019s right to self-determination. The highlight is undoubtedly the famous Canal Parade where a convoy of elaborately decorated boats and barges (in every theme imaginable!) cruise through the city\u2019s (usually) peaceful canals. There\u2019s also the annual Pride Walk and the Pride Park festival in the gorgeous Vondelpark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-02616b5a-da02-423b-a371-f446c1e5d919\">8. Prague, Czech Republic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"block-21da0959-27e8-4362-a3cd-46c484932744\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intrepidtravel.com\/adventures\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/EU-Czech-Republic-Prague-Old-town-square-521916241-ss-800x450-1.jpg\" alt=\"A lively square in the Czech Republic's historic Old Town\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8f42cba7-5566-42d6-8c90-c4af7b2cb771\">It might only be in its 12<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;year, but <a href=\"\/czech-republic\">Prague<\/a> knows how to celebrate Pride. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.praguepride.cz\/en\/\">Prague Pride<\/a> is one of the most LGBTQIA+ friendly events&nbsp;in Central and Eastern Europe with a whole week of debates, parties, exhibitions, free concerts and its very own Pride Village on St\u0159eleck\u00fd Island. While there are many variations of the flag to represent different groups within the community \u2013 like the bisexual flag, the lesbian flag, the pansexual flag, etc. \u2013 all flags use the same colours to symbolise certain values. Red represents life, orange is healing, yellow is sunshine, green is nature, blue is harmony, purple is spirit, black and brown represent the BIPOC community, and light blue and
