Day 1 Hanoi
Arrive early to explore the chaotic capital of Vietnam. Hanoi is an alluring city of contrasts, best discovered by cyclo or on foot. Walk along Hanoi's pagoda-studded lake and perhaps visit some of its rich cultural sights.

Day 2 Halong Bay
Join a scenic boat tour across the emerald waters of Halong Bay, sailing past secluded lagoons and limestone karsts. Indulge in a gourmet seafood lunch, soak up the sun on deck and taking a refreshing dip.

Days 3-4 Hanoi
Explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi on foot and wind up next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Choose to visit the mausoleum complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's founding father.

Days 5-6 Hue
Travel through Hue on a bicycle discovering ancient royal treasures or take a boat trip along the Perfume River. Don't miss the Imperial Citadel with its ruined Forbidden Purple City and nine bronze urns.

Days 7-9 Hoi An
Journey over the Hai Van Pass, calling into China Beach. Explore the peaceful countryside around Hoi An on a bicycle ride to gain insight into rural life, or perhaps master cuisine in a cooking class.

Days 10-12 Nha Trang
Relax on squeaky sand beaches or snorkel the offshore reefs of Nha Trang. Vietnam's premier beach playground boasts a number of nearby islands to explore on a leisurely boat trip.

Days 13-14 Ho Chi Minh City
Slither down into the Cu Chi Tunnels for a very real impression of what life was like underground during the Vietnam War. The adventure then draws to a close on the animated streets of Ho Chi Minh City, where attractions like Ben Thanh market and the War Remnants Museum are well worth a visit.
