Mekong Delta Farmstay Itinerary

Travel to Vietnam and get ready for this Mekong Delta tour from Ho Chi Minh City that journeys down one of the lifebloods of Asia. Be picked up early and head to the city of My Tho, where this Mekong adventure gets underway. Board a private boat and see another side of Vietnamese life, all based around this amazing river. Stop off at various islands, experiencing luscious tropical fruit gardens and see how coconut candy is made. Then, jump in row boats and delve deeper into the Delta’s winding canals. Enjoy lunch at a traditional riverside restaurant before exploring the lovely Phoenix Islet and its fish farms. Later in the day, it's time to meet our hosts and spend a fantastic evening on their farm sharing food and stories, learning about local customs and life on the Delta.

Wake up to the sounds of the river and a traditional Vietnamese breakfast. Then cycle along local paths to the village, enjoying the colour and spectacle of a rural market. Return to the homestay for a delicious lunch before saying farewell and taking to the Mekong once more, winding up the river to return to the city where this Mekong River adventure ends.
