My Thailand Beaches tour (east coast) consisted of 12 travelers. I was traveling alone and was paired up with an awesome roommate of the same gender and age range. The tour moves at a relatively quick pace. Our days usually consisted of traveling in the morning to a destination, spending two nights there, and moving onto the next destination in the morning. The overnight train was simple in accommodation, but comfortable. Our hotels were very nice and not too crowded. The homestay was an absolute highlight! We stayed in a beautiful wooden home on the gulf that was open to the air. Mosquito nets and bed mats were provided, so we were comfortable for the night. The meals prepared by the family were delicious. They even prepared some vegetarian dishes for one of our travelers, as well as dishes of varying spiciness.

The Thailand Beaches trip was a great opportunity to relax and soak up the scenery. I had never snorkelled before but it wasn't a problem - seeing the "millions of fish" was amazing. The resort at the end of the trip was quite a surprise - we booked in for an extra 2 nights. We travelled with a great group of people and our Leader Naa was always looking after us - even cooking the squid we caught - delicious! It all went so fast!
