Welcome to bustling Beijing! Discover the awe-inspiring wonder of the iconic Great Wall of China on a trip to this impressive feat of engineering.
Travel from Beijing to Lhasa on one of the world's great train journeys and soak up stunning landscapes on the climb to the Tibetan Plateau.
Arrive in Lhasa, Tibet's eclectic capital city and a place of beauty and mysticism. Enjoy a cooking class and visit Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama.
Spend the night in the atmospheric shadow of Samye Monastery, the oldest in Tibet.
Listen to the monks' morning prayers before taking a spectacular drive across the Kamba-La Pass. Make the pilgrim circuit at Pelkor Chode Monastery and see the imposing hill fortress of Gyantse Dzong.

1. In order for us to apply for your Tibet entry permit and purchase your train ticket to Lhasa you must provide a scanned, color copy of the personal details page of your passport and Chinese visa to your booking agent no later than 30 days prior to the start date of your trip.
2. Please be aware that in recent years there have been times when restrictions on nationalities being able to travel on specific departures have been implemented or Tibet has been closed to foreign tourists without warning.
3. Due to the demands of travelling at high altitudes a Passenger Self Assessment Form is required for this trip.
