Days 1-2 San Francisco/Yosemite National Park

As a truly multicultural city, San Francisco has a wealth of cuisines, cultures, artistic events and eclectic scenes over every hill and around every corner. If heaven descended to Earth, it would probably look like Yosemite. One of America's most popular national parks, its waterfalls, dramatic cliffs and wilderness areas are breathtaking.

Day 3 Nevada Desert

Travel to the Eastern Sierra Nevada to enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and crystal-clear lakes. Have cameras ready as there will be countless photo opportunities today.

Days 4-5 Zion National Park

Zion National Park showcases soaring canyons, impressive hiking trails and beautiful waterways, all coloured by the mesmerising pink-, red- and white-hued rocks that the park is famous for.

Day 6 Bryce Canyon National Park

A natural amphitheatre formed by centuries of erosion, Bryce Canyon National Park is filled with hoodoos - dramatic rock spires that glow red, orange and white in the glaring sun.

Day 7 Lake Powell

Controversially created in the 1960s, Lake Powell is now a popular holiday destination, consisting of 96 water-filled canyons, 3,150 km of shoreline and endless red-hued canyon walls.

Day 8 Monument Valley

Red-hued sandstone buttes rise strikingly from the earth in Monument Valley, the setting of many a western and home to the Navajo Nation Reservation.

Days 9-10 Grand Canyon

Stretching 450km long, up to 30km wide and carving 1.6km deep into the earth, it's easy to see how this canyon achieved its moniker. Overwhelming in real life, the Grand Canyon is a natural wonder and awe-inspiring at any angle. Why not take a helicopter flight to get a true idea of its magnitude. Top off this memorable day with a fiery-hued Grand Canyon sunset.

Days 11-12 Las Vegas

The hedonistic world of Las Vegas has to be seen to be believed. Dance with 'Lady Luck', catch a show or pull up a chair at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Day 13 Los Angeles

Journey through the Mojave Desert en route to the 'City of Angels'.
