Day 1 Seattle

Day 9 Jackson Hole

Day 10 Craters of the Moon National Monument

Created to protect a vast ocean of lava flows, Craters of the Moon National Monument's bizarre landscape is dotted with islands of cinder cones and sagebrush.

Days 11-12 Snake River Canyon/Lake Tahoe

The astounding Snake River Canyon offers stunning scenery and outdoor activities, plus Shoshone Falls - the 'Niagara of the West' - are located nearby. Exhilarating in winter and gorgeous in the summer, Lake Tahoe is a popular holiday resort all year around to ski, snowboard, cycle, waterski and hike.

Days 13-14 Yosemite National Park

If heaven descended to Earth, it would probably look like Yosemite. One of America's most popular national parks, its waterfalls, dramatic cliffs and wilderness areas are breathtaking.

Day 15 San Francisco
