Day 1 New York/Finger Lakes

Be welcomed to the ‘Big Apple’ by the sights, sounds and smells of this bubbling megacity. Arrive early to meander through Central Park, take a gander at the Guggenheim or climb the iconic Empire State Building. Spend the night in the elegant Finger Lakes district, where an optional wine tour is a must-do for wine-lovers.

Days 2-3 Niagara Falls/Toronto

See the divine spectacle of Niagara Falls, one of the world’s most famous waterfalls. Be mesmerised by the millions of litres of water that tumble from Lake Erie each second – churning the waters of Lake Ontario and blanketing the falls in its trademark mist. Take a boat ride to the base of the falls and see this powerful landmark up close. After snapping the perfect photo, ditch the raincoats and head for cosmopolitan Toronto.

Days 4-5 Montreal

Explore Canada’s cultural capital, a profusion of avant-guard art, modern museums and world-class shopping. For those with a thirst for adrenaline, take an optional jet boat ride on the Lachine Rapids.

Days 6-7 Quebec

Say bonjour to Quebec, the heart of French Canada. Take in the city's old-world feel and stroll the cobblestone streets of the historical downtown district.

Days 8-9 Acadia National Park

Ditch the hustle and bustle of Canada’s cities for a serene slice of the USA’s Acadia National Park. Hike across rugged coastline, hop on a mountain bike or enjoy an exhilarating sea-kayak adventure.

Days 10-11 Boston

Feel the revolutionary fever of Boston, a city etched in the fabric of USA's history as the site of the infamous Tea Party. Walk the Freedom Trail for a fascinating glimpse into the origins of the War of Independence or catch one of the local sporting teams in action.

Day 12 New York

Return to New York and perhaps stick around after the tour to further explore a city often labelled ‘the capital of the world’.
