Los Angeles City Break Summary

Add to Shortlist

Day 1 Arrive Los Angeles

Stars, surf, superficiality and sunshine - Los Angeles is a bold, sprawling city with a pronounced swagger and a surprising amount of charm.

Days 2-3 Los Angeles

Get ready for a big day of sightseeing. With a local guide, make tracks to Hollywood. See Mann's Chinese Theater and the Kodak Theater, stroll the Walk of Fame and glimpse the famous Hollywood sign. Travel onwards, paying a visit to the Farmers Market, an LA institution and home to tantalising food stalls, artisans, music and fresh produce. This is the perfect place to have lunch before hitting the shops. Wander through a store that sells clothes used in movies and television shows, then drive through ritzy Beverly Hills before cruising down Rodeo Drive. Take a spin along Route 66 to the Pacific Coast, walk along the Venice canals and finish the day with a bike ride past Muscle Beach and the Santa Monica Pier.

Day 4 Depart Los Angeles

Although not as glitzy as it likes to make out, LA does have a lot to offer with its eclectic array of restaurants, entertainment and modern-day culture.
