Travel south down one of the most scenic roads in the country, flanked by the vast Pacific Ocean on one side and the many delights of the Californian coast on the other. Be on the lookout to spot some local wildlife, including sea lions, birds and perhaps even a whale. Stop off in the charming fishing cove of Monterey Bay, spend time exploring remote beaches and savour tasty morsels during an included picnic lunch. Continue on to the San Luis Obispo area to bunker down for the night.
Rise early the next day and make tracks for the beautiful American Riviera city of Santa Barbara. There's free time here to simply relax on the beach.
