Day 1 New York

Grab a slice of pizza and explore Manhattan by foot, subway or yellow cab. Make time to stroll through leafy Central Park, home to both a castle and a zoo!

Days 2-3 Washington DC

Discover Philadelphia, a city rich in US history, then venture on to DC. After soaking up the monuments surrounding the National Mall, why not head to Georgetown for some happening nightlife.

Day 4 Shenandoah National Park/Appalachian Mountains

Travel through thick forest and past spectacular vistas in Shenandoah National Park, one of the highest and most scenic parts of the Appalachian Mountains.

Day 5 Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Venture into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and hike through one of the oldest uplands on Earth.

Day 6 Nashville

Continue onward to Nashville where you can opt to tour the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Day 7 Mammoth Cave National Park/Louisville

Explore Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest cave system in the world, before stopping overnight in Louisville.

Days 8-9 Chicago

See Chicago's iconic skyscrapers from another angle on an architectural boat cruise or visit Willis Tower, one of the world's tallest buildings.

Day 10 Lake Erie

Stop at the Indiana Dunes on beautiful Lake Michigan before visiting Shipshewana, home to one of America's largest Amish communities. Overnight in scenic Lake Erie.

Day 11 Niagara Falls

The beauty of these falls can be viewed from many vantage points, but nothing beats the thrilling experience of an optional 'Maid of the Mist' boat ride.

Day 12 Finger Lakes Region

Reach Finger Lakes, where there are plenty of opportunities to go swimming or hiking.

Days 13-14 Boston

Call into Albany, the capital of New York state, before reaching the sports-mad city of Boston. Take the freedom trail through Boston’s must-see historical sights or see one the cities famous sports teams in action.

Day 15 New York

Complete this American pioneer journey in the city that never sleeps.
