Day 1 Anchorage

Visit Alaska’s largest city, where urban chic, industry and wilderness combine. Keep an eye out - even though it is busy, curious moose and bears still roam around town from time to time.

Days 2-3 Denali National Park

Have a go at gold panning before setting up camp for the night. Walk through striking and isolated scenery to see fossils, glaciers and the mighty Mt McKinley. After a dog sled demo, adventure into the park in search of wildlife on a guided tour.

Day 4 Alaska Range

Camp under the stars in the heart of the Alaska mountain range. Roam among the quiet lakes of the tundra and spot rich birdlife and grazing caribou.

Days 5-6 Wrangell St-Elias National Park

See the towering mountain ranges of North America and witness a glacier five times bigger than Manhattan. For the more adventurous, go glacier walking or ice climbing. Rich with natural beauty, this is a great place to explore by foot to really get up close and personal with the impressive landscape.

Day 7 Valdez

Home to a goldmining boom, head to the port of Valdez to spot orca and humpback whales. Experience Prince William Sound, which contains the largest tidewater glacier in Southcentral Alaska, stretching over 16.9 km.

Days 8-9 Kenai Fjords National Park

Arrive at the colourful fishing village of Seward, the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Cruise the waters to spot humpbacks, killer whales and birds riding the wild wind currents. Afterwards, visit the impressive Exit Glacier and go on a ranger-led walk.

Days 10-11 Kachemak Bay Wilderness Camp

Experience a true Alaskan adventure while camping in the remote Kachemak Bay. Explore the region by kayak and see elusive bears, go on a salmon fishing excursion, harvest clams or hike to a glacier. After an active day, warm up by the camp fire and enjoy a home-cooked meal, followed by a delicious hot chocolate.

Days 12-13 Anchorage

Farewell the Alaskan wilderness and journey back to Anchorage to explore more of this bustling city.
