Hear the story behind the formation of these gigantic boulders before continuing on to Tennant Creek for lunch. Start the day with an exploration of Nitmiluk National Park. Meaning the 'Place of the Cicada Dreaming' in the Jawoyn language, it’s a stunning place to explore. Take a short walk to Barrawei Lookout for an incredible view of Katherine Gorge before learning about the significance of this area to the Jawoyn people. Stop for a swim in the refreshing waters of Edith Falls before journeying to tropical Darwin, the Territory’s culture-rich capital city.

The trip can be separated into two parts. The trip to Uluru/Kata Tjuta/Kings Canyon was great and well organised. The trip from Alice to Darwin was a bit rushed.
