Day 1 Arrive Kas
Arrive in Kas, a jewel on Turkey's Turquoise Coast. Settle in to life on the Mediterranean in this easy-going little town - perhaps laze on one of the white sand beaches, revitalise in the clear aquamarine waters, wander the cobblestone streets or relax in a cafe and watch the world go by.

Days 2-7 Day walks from Kas
Ease into the adventure with an orientation walk of Kas. Set at the foot of a mountain, ruins of an ancient town melt seamlessly into the modern day in this unspoilt haven of coffee-houses, restaurants and pristine beaches. Then, wander through olive groves to the idyllic Limanagzi Beach to investigate a shipwreck before swimming and relaxing by the alluring sea. Perhaps start day three with a sea kayak trip, gliding over a sunken city that shimmers under cerulean waters at Kekova, and witness the Turquoise Coast from another angle. Explore charming Simena, a rustic village with an ancient Byzantine castle - originally built to deter pirates - looming grandly over it. Start day 4 from a small Turkish village and trek past an old Ottoman Cemetery before the terrain opens up to startling views of the Kinik Valley. Follow an ancient aqueduct up into pine forest, stopping to fill water bottles from a mountain stream, and wander along a stony trail before making tracks to a local village where a Turkish feast of pide or fresh trout awaits. Travel to ancient Arycanda on day five, a village with a history of mischief making and built upon five terraces laden with a wealth of Lycian and Hellenistic ruins to explore, some dated from the 5th-century BC. After a morning exploring the sites, enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch as guests of a local family. On day six, make tracks to Yesil Koy and walk along the lines of an old aqueduct to the ruins of an ancient amphitheatre in Patara National Park, fitting in a restoring swim in the pristine waters if time allows. Enjoy a free last day to discover the sights around Kas; swim or dive off the local beaches, wander the streets of the old town, discover rock-cut tombs or simply relax in a cafe with mint tea and the chatter or locals. Perhaps spend the final evening enjoying freshly caught seafood while watching the sun sink slowly into the sea
