Days 1-2 Kathmandu
With monkey temples, living goddesses and markets of every kind, Kathmandu is a legendary city. Climb up to Swayambhunath for fantastic views.
Days 3-5 Kathmandu Valley
Enjoy a taste of the Nepalese countryside. Hike in Kathmandu Valley, through sub-tropical forests and across a softly undulating landscape to Nagarkot's spectacular lookout point. Descend across terraced farmlands to the quaint Nepali town of Bhaktapur.
Day 6 Trisuli River
See Nepal from water-level along the Trisuli River, camping overnight on a river beach.
Day 7 Bandipur
The hilltop village of Bandipur has been largely untouched by tourism and is an excellent opportunity to experience Newari village life.
Day 8 Pokhara
Once part of the trade route between India and Tibet, Pokhara lies in the shadow of the Annapurnas. Prepare for the trek ahead with a morning walk to Sarangkot or a bike ride through the rural landscape.
Days 9-12 Siklis Trek
Head along the road less travelled and enjoy a taste of remote Nepal on trek through the Siklis area. Travel along the Mardi Khola River through the land of the friendly Gurung people before climbing through terraced fields and alpine forests to Tara Top for spectacular views of the ranges. Enjoy a shady descent through rhododendron forests filled with orchids, lichen and moss on the return to Pokhara Valley.
Day 13 Pokhara
Unwind in one of the many cafes, take a boat ride across the lake or pick up some Nepali or Tibetan trinkets in the Old Bazaar.
Days 14-15 Kathmandu
An incredible adventure comes to an end back in Nepal's exciting capital.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
For other safety updates, please see our general safety updates page.

Our leader (Arjun) was phenomenal!! He anticipated the group's needs and responded rapidly. He was humble, competent, informative, funny, inspiring and great with our team of porters and assistants. The itinerary was also EXCEPTIONAL: What a range of terrains. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

This trip was much more than I had expected. It has so much variety from visiting remote villages, to strolling through the local towns to the good but hard treking through forests of so much greenery with spectacular scenery to the near mountains.
