Day 1 Quito
Sitting at a high altitude under the gaze of the Pichincha Volcano, Quito is one of South America's most attractive cities.
Days 2-3 San Cristobal Island
Take an exhilarating downhill bike ride on San Cristobal, visit the Interpretation Centre to learn the history of the islands and swim at Mann Beach. Stop off at Isla de Lobos to see nesting frigate birds and take a swim at Kicker Rock, an underwater volcano rising from the sea.
Day 4 Floreana/ Isabela Islands
Keep an eye out for dolphins and the magnificent albatross on the way to Floreana Island. Here, experience some of the best snorkelling in the Galapagos at Enderby Islet, Champions Bay or Devils Crown.
Days 5-6 Isabela Island
A full day tour takes us to Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in the Galapagos. Here you can experience a bird's eye view of this magical landscape. Jump into a kayak and cruise around the island spotting penguins up close.

See amazing lava tunnels, some over 1 km long, while taking in panoramic views of the islands. Head to Tortuga Bay, a stunning beach with fine white sand, to see marine iguanas, or try your hand at body boarding or surfing.

Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and observe many species of tortoises and iguanas, brought back from the brink of extinction. Enjoy a last swim or snorkel at Santa Fe to see marine iguanas and schools of surgeonfish.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

A fantastic holiday with lots to see
Sonia Burnett
This was a fantastic trip, and we had the chance to see so much more by being based on the islands rather than on a boat. The only thing I would have changed would be to have had one or two days longer on each island, as there was so much to see and the pace was pretty fast to fit it all in. But I will undoubtedly be recommending this trip to all my friends!
