Bursting with wildlife, the national parks of Tanzania will have you continually reaching for your camera. Travelling across the undulating plains of the Serengeti, we go in search of the iconic Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. Descending into the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater, a microcosm of famous East African scenery and wild game, lose yourself in the large herds of zebra and wildebeest. With so much to see and do, and the comfort of a lodge in which to rest every night, this will certainly be a week to remember.

Days 1-2 Nairobi/ Lake Manyara
The skyscrapers of Nairobi disappear in the distance on this journey into the African wilderness. Cross the border and head to Lake Manyara National Park. The legendary tree-climbing lions here are a highlight of any safari and the huge herds of zebra, wildebeest and buffalo make a perfect welcome to Tanzania.
Days 3-4 Serengeti National Park
The golden grasses of the Serengeti stretch as far as the eye can see. Venture across the plains and around the kopjes (rock formations) to uncover the many animals that make this park their home. Drive out at dawn and dusk - at these times, both predator and prey are at their most active - so there is a better chance to bear witness to the unrelenting cycle of life on the African savannah. Tonight, relax in the comfort of the lodge and discuss the amazing sights seen on the plains.
Days 5-6 Ngorongoro Crater
An early drive, perhaps past the Simba Kopjes, gives a chance to see the regions big cats basking in the morning sun. Later, wander into the famous Olduvai Gorge, where Homo Sapien skeletons almost 20,000 years old were discovered and take a game drive across the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. Home to endangered black rhinos, a remarkable number of lions, leopards, elephants and hippos, youll be blown away by this wildlife haven.
Day 7 Nairobi
Bid goodbye to the beauty of the Crater Highlands today. Travelling across Arushas lush foothills, in the shadow of Mt Meru, this safari ends in the noisy streets of Nairobi.
