Day 1 Casablanca
Get acquainted with the distinct architecture and European flavour of this famed city. Home to one of the largest mosques in the world and the tallest minaret as well as a variety of great cafes and restaurants, Casablanca has plenty of fantastic sights.
Day 2 Moulay Idriss Village Stay
See monuments spanning the history of Morocco on a walk through Rabat's Old Quarter. Visit the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, before spending the night in the remote holy village of Moulay Idriss. Once forbidden to non-Muslims, this village offers an excellent insight into traditional Moroccan life.
Days 3-4 Fes
Visit the old imperial stronghold of Meknes and take a step back into the Middle Ages in Fes, one of the most complete medieval cities in the world. Why not begin explorations from the scenic Merenid tombs, and finish off with some friendly haggling for souvenirs in the medina?
Days 5-6 Chefchaouen
Nestled between two peaks in the Rif Mountains, pretty Chefchaouen is a perfect place to relax. Spend your time here shopping for unique handicrafts in the medina, or simply sit at a cafe and watch the world go by. Then take a tour of the coastal port of Tangier.
Day 7-8 Marrakech
Tantalise your senses with a walk through the city's main square - Djemaa el-Fna. Rub shoulders with crowds of visitors and locals alike, engrossed in the spectacle of dancers, snake-charmers and acrobats. Wander through the kasbah quarter, the Mellah and the mosaic of souks and lose yourself to the sights, scents and sounds of delightful Marrakech.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

An interesting introduction to the most famous and historical towns and cities of Morocco. Overnight accommodation was particularly well positioned for sightseeing.
