Days 1-7 South Africa/ Namibia
The safari begins in Cape Town with a township tour, then we travel north to the Namibian border via the Western Cape. Continue to the striking Orange River to arrive at Fish River Canyon. Climb the world's highest dunes in the Namib-Naukluft National Park and enjoy optional activities such as dune-bashing or sand boarding in the coastal town of Swakopmund.
Days 8-15 Namibia/ Botswana
Travel north along the Atlantic coast and visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony, home to some 80,000 seals. Continue through Damaraland before heading into Etosha National Park for superb game drives. From the campsite, spot nocturnal wildlife around the floodlit waterholes. Cross into Botswana via Namibia's capital, Windhoek, and head to the gateway of the Okavango Delta at Maun. Explore the tranquil islands and watery channels by foot and traditional dugout canoe.
Days 16-21 Botswana/ Zambia
Travel north to Chobe National Park and spot herds of elephants on land and river safaris. Cross into Zambia and travel to Livingstone, gateway to Victoria Falls. There's plenty of free time to try some of the optional activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping or a scenic flight over the falls.
Days 22-25 Botswana/ South Africa
Travel back into Botswana and briefly revisit Chobe National Park before continuing south via Nata and Francistown. Cross over the border to South Africa and the famed Greater Kruger Area. Largely flat bushveld and savannah, Kruger has a huge variety of wildlife and this is the perfect terrain to view some of Africa's 'big five' as well as giraffes, hippos, and antelopes. There may also be the opportunity to take a night game drive. From the Kruger area travel through the Mpumalanga Region to Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city, where this incredible adventure ends.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

The trip was an unforgattable wildlife and wilderness experience, interesting and fun with many youngsters and those young at heart. Biggy and Musa, our first group leader and driver were fantastic.
