Day 2 -3 Chobe National Park
An early morning game drive through the Chobe National Park gives a good look at elephants, lions and other icons of the African savannah.
Days 4-6 Okavango Delta
Catch a glimpse of enormous Nile crocodiles or gangly giraffes while gliding along the waters of the Okavango Delta. Camp on a remote island surrounded by giant lily pads.
Days 7 Ghanzi
Take a walk with Ghanzi bushmen, who speak in their own language of clicks - an amazing tribal experience.
Day 8 Windhoek
Get a taste of Germany in one of many taverns in Namibia's capital.
Days 9-10 Etosha National Park
Go on safari in the Etosha National Park, staying up late to spot nocturnal wildlife around the reserve's many waterholes.

Continue on to eerie Damaraland to bush camp near dramatic rock formations and inspect ancient bushman paintings.
Days 12-13 Swakopmund
Travel to Cape Cross to watch thousands of seals caper along the coastline. In the oasis town of Swakopmund try optional dune bashing or sand boarding before kicking back in a lively bar.

Watch sunrise atop a huge dune overlooking the coppery sands of the world's oldest desert.
Day 16 Fish River Canyon
This incredible gorge offers remarkable photo opportunities, especially around Hell's Bend, a sharp turn in the river that cuts a swathe through the rock.
Days 17-18 Orange River/ Western Cape
Seamed by rugged mountains and rolling dunes, the scenic banks of Orange River are in the citrus area of the Western Cape.
Day 19 Cape Town
With an imposing cloud-covered mountain as a backdrop, Cape Town is one of the world's most beautiful cities and the perfect place to end this journey - but not before experiencing township life on a tour.
