Day 1 Ko Samui
Thailand's third-largest island makes its fortune from coconuts. While this is a staple of the local cuisine, the island also offers many other diversions and delights, including snorkelling, diving and sea kayaking. Ko Samui is also home to many temples, including Wat Khunaraam, where the main attraction is a mummified monk.
Days 2-4 Coral Bay Resort
This eco-friendly resort is located on the beachfront just north of Chaweng Beach. Tucked away in palm-shaded tropical gardens sloping gently down to the white sandy beach, the resort is also within easy reach of shops, nightlife and restaurants. The coral reef in the bay keeps away noisy power boats and jet skis and provides a serene setting for snorkelling and fishing.
Day 5 Ko Samui
As all good things must come to an end, today it's time to bid farewell to beautiful Ko Samui.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.

The beach break was great, although it was not the best season. Now, the tide is low, it is raining quite often, but never long time, and the north of the Chaweng beach is not ideal for classical beach holidays (much corals and stones, and very flat beach into the sea). However, the hotel Coral Bay Resort ist fabulous. The meals are excellent, and the garden ist the most beautiful among the numerous resorts we have seen at Chaweng beach. The SPA is fantastic, and we anjoyed a extremly relaxant massage in a very charming atmosphere. Our bungalow (de luxe) was an experience of its own: spacious, big veranda, very cosy, with a eco-friendly waterfall-shower.. We would highly recommend this Resort.
